ECCOTECH IGU WARRANTY FORMS
INSTULATING GLASS UNITS WARRANTY
- ECCOTECH Limited (the manufacturer) warrants in respect of the Eccotech Insulating Glass Units (the Product) manufactured by it that the product will be free from material obstruction of vision so far as such obstruction of vision is caused by dust or film formation on the internal glass surfaces, and so far as such dust or film formation is the direct result of the failure and is the direct result of faulty manufacture by the manufacturer.
- THIS warranty shall remain in force for a period of 10 years from the date of manufacture of the product.
- IN the event of any claim pursuant to this warranty, the manufacturer will at its option either supply replacement product, or refund the purchase price of the faulty product.
- WITHOUT prejudice to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, such refund or supply of replacement product shall be accepted by you in full and final settlement of all claims against the manufacturer whether by way of damages or otherwise, arising directly or indirectly at any time from faulty manufacture of the product.
- To the extent that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, or to the extent that is not inconsistent with the Consumer Guarantees Act, the manufacturer accepts no liability for any claim by you or any other person in respect of any warranties, descriptions, representations, conditions as to fitness for any purpose, merchantability or otherwise, whether express of implied by law trade custom or otherwise.
- PLEASE NOTE: Detailed handing and installation recommendations regarding this product are available from the manufacturer. The manufacturer shall be entitled at its option to refuse to honour this warranty if in its reasonable opinion those recommendations have not been strictly complied with in every respect.
- WHERE you acquire the product for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply.
- THIS warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Nothing in this warranty is intended to have the effect of contracting out of the provisions of that Act except to the extent permitted by the Act, and this warranty is to be modified to the extent necessary to give effect to that intention.
